The Observer:  Director Jason Cannon does a fine job of making this precisely engineered entertainment experience resemble a spontaneous get-together… Rocks the house… There’s a whole lot of great musicianship going on… And, along with their singing, playing and fine motor skills, these guys (and one gal) can also act. You instantly grasp who their characters are… Together, all these talented individuals bust a gut telling the story behind the music. Yes, they do… FST knows they’ve got a hit on their hands. It’s impossible not to have fun.

Still, I think even millennials will appreciate Million Dollar Quartet.

TalkinBroadway:  Director Jason Cannon has done a superb job in his casting… The music-making kicks the audience into high gear. I’ll bet that at some performances there is dancing in the aisles… Fine acting always means fine directing, this time by Jason Cannon, who has become a major asset to Florida Studio Theatre with work in several other areas including a fine performance in Dancing Lessons a few years back. Everything about this production is top notch, including how it perfectly fits the intimacy of the Gomperz Theater space… FST has a big hit on its hands.

Sarasota Magazine:  A high energy production… Many hits are performed by the highly energetic cast under the direction of Jason Cannon and music director Darren Server… Million Dollar Quartet is slated to play through Jan. 1, although I’d bet the run will be extended.
